Similarities with parkour
Hi. And hi Jane, I was out with you training parkour in New Zealand :)
It seems like this is similar to it in ways. Ideas like viewing exercise as fun, that exercise can be done by anybody, with no special equipment, and the idea of the city as a playground are similar to views in parkour. Though this is more accessible as this doesn't involve all the high speed, high impact, and high strength and power moves that likely put people off trying parkour. I think the world needs more of this type of playful functional exercise.
This game is awesome if it gets people moving. Oh and if people haven't heard of it, you should give parkour a go as well ;)

Hi Max! Yes, yes, yes. Exactly. We started chasing cryptids largely because of our experience running with you guys in Wellington. ^_^ That makes you kind of like a secret original crytpid chaser. Thank you. I will definitely encourage all cryptid chasers at our event to check out parkour, especially if they seem have some strong moves.
And I think if you were here for any of the chases in San Francisco, you'd be so good at it that the cryptids would have to chase YOU!

I'm one of those people who was intimidated by the (apparent) high barrier to entry of parkour: I'm looking forward to giving Cryptozoo a try since it looks like a fun way to test the waters.
